Telehealth Training for Clinicians Working with Young Children

This skills-based training prepares clinicians to use core behavior strategies effectively in telehealth sessions without reliance on products or scripted tools. Participants will learn how to design and adapt token economy systems that motivate children in ways that are flexible and individualized, apply behavior momentum strategies to reduce resistance and build success, and foster sustained engagement through clinician-led interaction. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making, tailoring interventions to each child and family, and maintaining high levels of therapeutic presence in a virtual setting. By the end of this training, clinicians will be equipped with practical, adaptable skills to manage challenging behavior and promote meaningful participation in telehealth environments.
